They ran, and ran. Birchwood was fast, but Darken has incredible stamina. They rushed through all of the open fields, and called out to any animal the sensed. They warned the weak, or the young to flee to safety, and called to them the strongest to fight.

"BARRRRRRRRROOOOOO" They howled, hoping that all would hear their desperate warnings.

Birchwood seemed anxious, Darken noted his concern grow and his eagerness bristle him as they entered a heavily scented Rot territory, "what lays ahead for you Birchwood?" Darken queried loosely.
"My families Rot... I have not seen them in awhile," he kept loping with Darkens long strides. "and suddenly I am worried for them." No more words were neccesary between them as they quickened their pace through the white tundra.

Sever pauses, scenting the wind. He feels his companion growing restless.
Doth's blunt, gluttonous nature was ever at odds with Sever's patient cunning.

"There is a den of foxes close by," he says quietly. "Or a herd of elk. And a Rot further on."

He could guess what Doth was likely to chose, the nearest meal.
